We've finally started some independant projects, so Im gonna start directing mine sometime this week. Its gonna be awesome.
Ive actually already starred in a bunch of other people's movies; until they realized I couldnt act, of course. Its been fun. My face is gonna be all over the place at the final Exhibition hehe

Im sorry I havent written you guys yet, I just now found a computer lab I have access to (the counselors refused to tell us where they were, so we had to scout throught the whole fscking campus)
But yeah, Im in film school now and its really really really fucking strange. Like, the film prof only speaks in whispers, and her TA is presently working on an underground music video for a song called "I Cant Believe Its Not Booty" and wrote the script for a film six months ago called "Necropimp"
lol
Thats pretty fucking weird.
Im not too crazy about a lot of the kids here; they're all kinda the same, but not in a good way. Like, you have your punks and your goths and your preppy bitches and everything, but they're all still relatively stupid and cliche. My roommate's pretty cool though, a skater named David, also here for film.
And yes. Rocio still tries to hang out with us every day. David agrees that she really does have good intentions, but just tries wayyy too hard. Its funny to hear someone who's never met her before already bitching about how much of a pain she is lol
Its cool though, 'cause while a lot of the artists are just douches, there's a bunch of other summer colleges at Ithaca at the same time, so theres a bit of variety in the kids you can choose to hang out with.
I did officially get an address, but I didnt think to bring it with me today, so I'll have it for you (Dana and Thea) tomorrow, I promise!!
I love you guys, and will try to write often (although I really wont have much time for anything once we start actually filming. We wake up at 7, have lectures from 8 till 5, eat Dinner, then go back for lectures and artist showcases again at 8 to 10pm. It kinda sucks, 'cause all we do is art, eat, and sleep)

Okay, so, my grandfather arrived to town today, and he brought be me a fake Single Action Army for Otakon. Its a real metal case and everything, but its a cap gun, so its not dangerous (or valuable) so we're gonna saw off the barrel and the butt and replace them with a blade and hilt to make my own custom

However, the picture I started with was a really terrible, terrible, grainy, pixelated piece of crap of a photo, that was so protected with anti-theft non-right-clicking code AND a company logo meta-taged right smack in the middle of it that I had to spend about 3 hours photoshopping it just to look decent.
And I think I did an awesome clean-up, so nyaah.
Yay for prom.

Okay, holy crap.
Im so geeked out for the new Batman.
Like, I surprise myself at how excited I am. Its weird. I always loved Batman as a kid (I wore a cape and everything) but, they have Christian Bale playing Bruce Wayne. I mean, how cool is that??
I wanted so desperately to be the guy for years, and now he's becoming the hero from my childhood?? Kinda creepy, in the freakishly awesome kind of way

CCAD Portfolio Review: PWNED!
Im still not sure if I want to go to the school or not, but it is definately a possibility. The admissions people were really impressed that I actually had a serious, hand-drawn movie in the works, with a plot and everything! They seemed shocked. It was really amusing.
It was also amusing, and kinda unnerving that my highschool independant study looks better than most of the animation work by the attending students that I saw on dispaly
Anyway, I do apologize to everyone for the lack of art/updates/website lately. (its true, "www.skygarden.tk" has expired.)
I really dont have a good excuse other than simply that life got in the way. A lot has happenned. Like, Josh got disconnected. Indefinately. So, for the time being, SkyGarden is dead.
However, Im cutting my losses and starting over. RADIUS SOLIS IS COMING BACK!!! That means that Im redoing the whole website, from the ground up. Even getting a new webhost, 'cause Atspace really isnt that reliable.
So, with a new site, of course, comes a new web design! Here are the 3 sketches Ive been working on.

So, last night I went snooping around the net and looked at all my favorite artists' sites for the first time in a long time. It was really surprisingly refreshing. I visitted Lea's STFU and got all caught up with DDRninja's "Is It Con Yet?" webcomic, among others... it was lovely
IICY? makes me so damn restless to go to Otakon (and Anime Boston). I love anime nerds. They're my people. Its really a shame we dont have any around here, 'cause they're really awesome folks. They make me happy.
Okay, this is getting excessively long, so I'll shut up and get to the good stuff.
I need SOME kinda of portrait for my portfolio review, so I made this one of a girl I met at the Dome a while ago. Enjoy:
